Michael is a highly accomplished business and
operational leader who has been involved in the industry for
25 years. Michael’s unique blend of experience includes
general contracting, construction and sales consulting, master
carpentry and installations, building product evaluation and
education and development of energy efficient home
improvements.
Michael is regarded as an expert in the areas
of remodeling, new construction and building performance
contracting. Michael is a national consultant to the
construction industry, including manufacturers, consumer
groups, contractors and various government organizations such
as the Environmental Protection Agency, United States
Department of Energy, Department of Housing and Urban
Development, Residential Energy Services Network and the
Business Performance Institute.

He has played a major role in the development
and implementation of the “consultation and educational” sales
approach which is rapidly replacing the notorious
high-pressure close that has plagued the remodeling industry
for decades.
In addition to his many industry
certifications, Michael was chosen to be a member of the BPI
Technical Advisory Committee and was elected the Co-Chairman
for their Accreditation Committee. He also sits on the
Technical Advisory Panel for the Institute for Building
Technology and Safety (IBTS) PATH-36 program in Washington,
DC.
Michael regularly travels abroad to work with
not-for-profit organizations and their funding government
agencies including the EPA, USDOE and HUD to help develop and
implement new protocols that are designed to reform and
improve the construction industry.
Michael is extremely dedicated to these
necessary changes that will not only provide improved health,
safety, comfort and value to America’s homeowners, but will
also have a staggering effect on our nation’s economic and
environmental conditions.
